Would you like to experience more peace of mind, clarity and joy in the midst of your busy life?
Wouldn’t it be great to learn to cope with stress, worry and difficulty in a more skillful way so that you don’t end up feeling exhausted and down?
Mindfulness meditation shows you how you can achieve precisely that by learning to pay attention to your experience in the present moment in a non-judgemental way. In doing so you will gain rich insights into how your mind works and understand how your body, feelings, and thoughts are interconnected: you access your own inner wisdom and tap into your internal resources to live a more balanced, joyful life!
A growing body of scientific evidence supports these claims: practising mindfulness meditation is associated with changes in gray matter concentration in brain regions involved in learning and memory processes, emotion regulation, self-referential processing, and perspective taking (www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21071182) . But don’t take Harvard Medical School’s word for it. Come and try it for yourself in a friendly environment with a qualified trainer.
Check out this space for full-day workshops, individual and drop-in meditaton sessions, and MBSR 8-week courses in English (coming soon after the summer 2018) or drop me a line at firstname.lastname@example.org
About the trainer
Gaël Sánchez began practising meditation 10 years ago, rooted in the Vipassana tradition. Out of a desire to teach mindfulness in secular contexts he completed the TTR1 with the Centre for Mindfulness Research and Practice of Bangor University. Gaël is certified with the MiSP (Mindfulness in Schools Project) and is currently on the Teacher Training Pathway at the CMPR of Bangor University, the university that pioneered teaching and training in mindfulness-based interventions in the UK. He regularly attends silent meditation retreats to deepen his practice and understanding of the transformational effects of mindfulness. He also has a long-standing interest in psychotherapy and completed the 1st cycle (2 years) of the École Parisienne de Gestalt. Gaël combines his passion for teaching meditation with his professional activity as a conference interpreter in Brussels.
